1 Days ( NJP RAILWAY STATION / IXB AIRPORT – PHUENTSHOLING )
Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport pick up & transfer to Phuentsholing. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay will be at Phuentsholing.
2 Days (PHUENTSHOLING - THIMPHU (176 KMS / 6 HR) )
After breakfast check out of the hotel & proceed further to complete the immigration formalities and transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.) the capital city of Bhutan. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay will be at Thimphu.
3 Days (THIMPHU FULLDAY SIGHTSEEING )
After breakfast visit King’s Memorial Chorten (Monument), Changangkha Monastery, National Zoo (Contains National Animal Takin), National Library, BBS Tower, Folk Heritage Museum, Textile Museum, School of Arts and Crafts, National Institute of Traditional Medicine, Traditional Paper Factory (made from Daphne plant). Overnight stay will be at Thimphu.
4 Days ( THIMPHU - PUNAKHA / WANGDUE SIGHTSEEING (77 KMS / 3 HRS) )
After breakfast drive to Punakha / Wangdue Phodrang (4,300 ft.), via Dochu-La-Pass (10,170 ft.). Continue towards Punakha visit Chimi Lhakhang - The Temple of Fertility built in 15th century. Also visit Punakha Dzong. On arrival check in at the hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay will be at Punakha.
5 Days ( PUNAKHA - PARO (140 KMS / 5 HRS) )
After breakfast visit Wangdue Dzong & transfer to Paro (7,483 ft.). On arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Ta Dzong - National Museum with an excellent collection of Bhutanese antiquities. Rinpung Dzong - the administrative seat of the district of Paro. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay will be at Paro.
6 Days (PARO TO TIGERNEST PARO )
Have early breakfast and drive up to the base of Taktsang Monastery (Tiger`s Nest)(Entry fee Rs. 500 per head). The most famous and sacred site among all the places in Bhutan. Guru Padmasambhava is said to have come riding on a flying tigress to this place and meditated in a cave for 3 months, it wasn`t until Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal came to this place and meditated that it gained the popularity that it has now. The present structure is said to be built in the 15th century but was destroyed by fire in 1998 and has been restored.The walk is about 2 hours till the top through wide pathways which was built during the restoration works. One hour into the climb there is a tea point from where you get a very good view of the monastery, they also serve lunch here. From there it`s about another 45 minutes climb to the 2nd view point and the highest point in the hike. All in all it takes around 5-6 hours for an average person to hike up and then back down to the base. Overnight stay.
7 Days ( PARO – LATAGURI )
After breakfast check out of the hotel and transfer to Lataguri. On arrival check in to the hotel. In the evening if possible enjoy the evening Jeep Safari.
8 Days (LATAGURI - BAGDOGRA AIRPORT )
After breakfast check out of the hotel and transfer to IXB Airport.
